Grandma Z’s (named after my Grandma Z) continues the maple tradition of the Zehr family. The Zehr family, located in Copenhagen, New York, has been producing quality maple syrup for four generations. The Zehr family practices sustainable forest management to ensure generations of healthy maple trees. Sugar Maples on the family woodlot are tapped each spring. The sap is then carefully boiled down in a wood fire evaporator. The end result is the purest natural sweetener, maple syrup.
